Communications Department
The communications department delivers the union’s message. It is responsible for all internal and external print, online and video communications, the website and newsletter.
It works with other departments in honing their outreach and facilitates press coverage on their activities.
The department has a particular emphasis on keeping the membership up to date on union news.
The department is also responsible for development and distribution of local 5 merchandise.
